Those Kronan bikes are supposedly Swedish, but maybe it’s produced in Eastern europe now.

Erm... Amsterdam does not exactly qualify as "Eastern Europe", does it?

No, of course not!! That’s not what I meant... :)
But: if it’s produced in Sweden it’s unlikely to be exported to the Netherlands, the prices would be too high. And now that I think of it, the price of a Kronan bike in Sweden it too low for it to be produced in Sweden. So I think it’s produced in eastern Europe (Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia etc.) and sold all over Europe, including the Netherlands.

Ah, now I see ;)
Well, their website says: "Kronan Cykel is based in Stockholm, Sweden with production facilities located in Sollefteå in Northern Sweden, in Amsterdam, Holland and in Kross, Poland."
So there.
