This photo per se certainly is not much to write home about. It's just a quick shot among 35 others to fill a roll. Nevertheless, I'm immensely proud of it.
Why? Because it's from the first ever roll I processed myself. And under adverse circumstances, too. Yesterday was not only the shortest night of the year, it must also have been the hottest one. I had to use ice cubes in a water bath to bring the chemicals even close to workable temperatures and when my hands were inside the changing bag I was sweating like mad. But it certainly was worth the effort. See another example here.
