Maxx -- this shot ROCKS! I love it --- looks like sugar cubes everywhere! Great eye .... I'm reading this book - http://tinyurl.co.uk/aa7e -- and took a break to take a look around - and this was my first stop -- fits right in with the theme I'm reading about -- I'd say this is one great PJ image -- what's the story behind it??
Thanks, Bob & Ray.
Bob - no big story behind it. It's just an installation at the Tate Modern in London by Rachel Whiteread. I quote the official Tate Modern site:
"For the Turbine Hall, she has created a gigantic labyrinth-like structure, entitled EMBANKMENT, made from 14,000 casts of the inside of different boxes, stacked to occupy this monumental space. The form of a cardboard box has been chosen because of its associations with the storage of intimate personal items and to invoke the sense of mystery surrounding ideas of what a sealed box might contain."
