Schlegel Brewery in Bochum. Taken by somebody in my family, probably in the early 50s by my late grandfather. It's still where it used to be back then but no beer is being produced there anymore.
Schlegel beer had a small revival recently. Trying to cash in on some sort of nostalgia?
I still prefer Fiege very much, though.
Advert for the Schauspielhaus Bochum inside Bochum's Central Station.
The first roll from the Zero 2000 came back today and I have to say I'm actually quite pleased with the outcome.
It's quite clear I have to work on the composition a bit, and more precise exposure plus the use of a tripod will undoubtedly lead to better results. Nevertheless I think for a first try the pictures are okay-ish. I really love this camera.
Here's a first gallery.
While writing this, the camera is standing in the cold outside, taking a picture of the moon with a really long exposure time. What fun.
As promised in my first real post, here is the flyer from the Dørn Shamrock reunion/anniversary gig back in December last year.

I went to the Eisenbahnmuseum in Bochum early today.
Here is the gallery. I also took some shots with the Zero 2000 Pinhole. Just another week to see how they come out. Whoo-hoo for film! They're probably no good anyway, since I didn't take a tripod and had to place the box on tracks and stuff, calculating exposures with the help of my Powershot A80. We'll see.
A beautifil silver Mini right around the corner where I live.
Unfortunately the flash of the Holga apparently was not up to the task.
I've got myself a ZeroImage Zero 2000 6x6 Pinhole. I'm turning into such a camera geek, it's unbelievable.
Anyway, I already love that little wooden box. It's of amazing quality and makes up for the fact that my Holga devoured the last roll. Grrr...
Stadtpark Bochum on the first real day of spring.
Some examples from my first roll. And yes, I have now removed the frame and the next roll will be the full 6x6. And b&w.
I had to buy a new washing machine a few weeks back. In front of the store were some beautiful old devices that caught my eye. This is one of them.
Yesterday I went back to take some pictures and as soon as I took the first shot with my Holga {*} some idiot arrived and gave me that "wtf are you takin' pictures for?" look. That a*sehole had nothing better to do than to immediately inform the store owner that somebody was outside with a camera. Mind your own business, you sad twat! Pardon my French, but some people just seriously get on my nerves sometimes.
The store owner was pretty cool about it once I explained that I just wanted to capture the strange beauty of that piece of metal, though. Plus I learned that it's actually not a washing machines but a dryer.
{*} Yes, I got a Holga. A birthday present. It is sooo cool. Prepare for some more Holga pictures the world has not been waiting for.
Update March 07, 2004: It was a tough decision which of the above pictures to enter into Photo Friday's "Perspective" challenge.
In the end, this one came out as the winner. So don't forget to cast your Noteworthy vote.
Update March 08, 2004: Just in case anybody was wondering. The pictures were taken during the exhibition "Andy Warhol - The Late Work" at the museum kunst palast in Duesseldorf.
