"Pommesbuden" are Germany's answer to Fish & Chips shops. Well, at least in this area.
And here now is the Queen of Pommesbuden, Profi Grill, in Bochum-Wattenscheid. The owner actually used to be a decorated chef before he decided it was time to move back to his roots. So now it's Currywurst and Bohnensalat (both highly recommended) again instead of some fancy girlie food.
Anyway, it really is "lecker" and it is also part of Lyssa's grand prize.
Tom, before the ceremonial part last Saturday.
In his hand: Fiege Pils.
Simone, after the ceremonial part last Saturday.
On the left: The late Andy Warhol.
Some sort of fashion shooting at Camden Lock. The real photographer was using a state of the art Bronica and grinned when he spotted my Holga.
A beautifil silver Mini right around the corner where I live.
Unfortunately the flash of the Holga apparently was not up to the task.
Some examples from my first roll. And yes, I have now removed the frame and the next roll will be the full 6x6. And b&w.
I had to buy a new washing machine a few weeks back. In front of the store were some beautiful old devices that caught my eye. This is one of them.
Yesterday I went back to take some pictures and as soon as I took the first shot with my Holga {*} some idiot arrived and gave me that "wtf are you takin' pictures for?" look. That a*sehole had nothing better to do than to immediately inform the store owner that somebody was outside with a camera. Mind your own business, you sad twat! Pardon my French, but some people just seriously get on my nerves sometimes.
The store owner was pretty cool about it once I explained that I just wanted to capture the strange beauty of that piece of metal, though. Plus I learned that it's actually not a washing machines but a dryer.
{*} Yes, I got a Holga. A birthday present. It is sooo cool. Prepare for some more Holga pictures the world has not been waiting for.
